Dissertations/theses are to be submitted to the Dissertation Office via email after the dissertation/thesis defense, and after the committee is satisfied with your final changes. Please have your program director (or dissertation chair in CEIS) send the final, approved PDF document to: email@example.com年欧洲杯分组, in addition to your signed signature page (as a seperate PDF). Ask them to include your name, ID#, a statement that the document has been checked for plagiarism, and the program you are graduating from in the body of the email.
After your defense you need to do the following items:
Make all changes and corrections in consultation with your committee.
Ensure that your document conforms generally to the AU Standards for Written Work.
Ask your program director/chair to send the final, approved PDF document and signature page to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Upload your document to ProQuest/UMI (instructions).
Complete the JWL Submission Agreement Form (download) and email it to email@example.com.
Tell the Dissertation Office how many personal copies you would like to purchase in addition to the required university copies you must pay for.* (This is charged to your student account). COVID-19 Update: If you want a personal printed copy, please order it through ProQuest.
Check your student account regularly after graduation until the charges for the required university copies* you must pay for go through (as well as charges for personal copies). COVID-19 Update: Due to the stay-at-home order and the disruption to the labor force, we are not printing theses/dissertations submitted in spring or summer 2020.
*These copies are for the university (5 for Seminary PhD/ThD students, 4 for College of Education PhD students, 4 for DNP students, 3 for all Master's theses), and this is charged to your student account by Lithotech. Dissertation Office's Responsibilities
Once your final copy has been submitted to the dissertation office, we do the following items:
Verify that your committee has checked the dissertation/thesis for plagiarism and has accepted all changes.
Verify that you have uploaded your final, complete, approved dissertation/thesis to ProQuest.
Confirm that you have completed the JWL Submission Agreement Form and send it to the Library.
Make arrangements to have your dissertation printed at Lithotech and bound for university purposes (this is charged to your student account). COVID-19 Update: As noted above, we are not printing theses/dissertations submitted in spring or summer 2020.
Sign the completion form and submit it to the records office for graduation.
